Fundy Adventure Rally

This year I went up to the Fundy Adventure Rally in NB. Heading up I decided to use a truck, which ended up being a good thing ;) More on that further down. It was scary driving her up into the truck ;) We had a tremendously fun time exploring the area around Adair’s Wildernis Lodge. deep in the woods exhausting ride in deep sand along the beach but really nice company Marc in the background: Wait, picture first!

Mt Greylock & Camping

On June 30th we finally made it out to try the new tent with two people. We also used that weekend to try Fab’s new backpack Fab's new backpack View from the Overlook Trail Too warm;) The top Landscape... Camping! :)

Water crossings in Iceland

I finally got around to edit some of the footage we got from our Iceland trip. Enjoy a couple of water crossings :)

Bear Brook State Park

Since the weather was looking rather bad for a hike above the treeline we decided to hit Bear Brook State Park again. We’ve been here before and once again we had a great time :) Hero section Look at all the things! Yeah, very interesting We might be lost? Don't fall here :)

DirtDaze 2018

Ready to go Once again it was time for a week of banging the bike through dense forests and fun dirt trails in NY. Following a slightly different route compared to last year, it took me about the same time, but at least I wasn’t riding in the rain: (https://www.myrouteapp.com/en/social/route/1014456?mode=share) Done setting up my new tent First night's campfire As a nice surprise @Steve_kamrad brought the two wheel drive REV’IT (check out a video here) adventure bike: two wheel drive bike!

Watkins Glenn & Lake George

The long (Memorial Day) weekend gave us a chance to tick off one of the things we had on our list for quite some time: Watkins Glenn in NY. Yes, I was there too eerie and too many people Looking nice though Still too many people The day after we escaped the tourist trap and walked up to the peak of Five Mile Mountain via Clay Meadow Trailhead.

Motorcycle shenanigans

This was the weekend of the Berkshire Big Adventure event. So I got together with a bunch of my meetup friends and we drove down there. Unfortunately my gopro batteries got very wet and consequently also very dead. So I don’t have a whole ton of footage, but here are some of the highlights:

Visitors!

Two weekends ago we had our first visitors since we are both living together. My brother and his SO came to Boston and we showed them around, even to some places we had never been before. Some of the visited places: Harvard, MIT, Salem, Portland, the Boston Aquarium, Newport, and couple more picturesque sites. Ice cream! (in Portland) Cliff walk portraits (New Port) Flower child trotting along Another portrait session More walking Tres mexicanos Boston Quincy quarries Harvard Aquarium!

Flume and Liberty May 13th

This past weekend had the perfect weather to be outdoors. Sunny, not warm, not cold. More importantly, almost no mosquitos! We both got a couple of bites though. We decided to check off two more of the 4K footers from the list and hiked Flume and Liberty. We now understand what the fuss is about avoiding the Flume slide trail in wet weather/conditions. At the end of the line we both agreed that it was a good decision to do the loop, totally worth it.

Biking around Arlington

This weekend we kicked off our mountain biking season 2018, and what better place than a local park we have never been before. And within biking distance! The name of the area is Burlington Landlocked Forest, and surprisingly enough, you actually feel a bit away from civilization, despite the constant humming of I-95. someone was cheating her way around the mud;) don't like pictures;) neat little bridges through the swampy pieces better don't go in there Artax!
